The 6th Annual New Albany Walking Classic will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010 starting at 9:00 a.m. The New Albany Walking Classic, the premier event of the New Albany Walking Club is the largest walking-only race in the United States. There are many reasons why the Classic has received numerous accolades:
- the high quality merchandise given to every entrant;
- the astounding and breathtaking course through which participants walk;
- the low entry fees charged;
- the race organization and community support provided.
The number of entrants will be limited to 3,500 this year. Early registration is encouraged as this event sells out every year. Register by April 30th for the early bird entry fee of $35. The entry fee is $45 beginning May 1, 2010.
