New Albany Walking Classic Health Expo
This year's Health Expo promises to be outstanding. Headed by nationally acclaimed physicians and other health personnel, walkers will be presented with the opportunity gain important health information that will improve individual and community well-being. The Expo will be open to the public so bring along friends and family.
Health Screenings
The hours during which screenings will be conducted are Friday, September 9th between 4:00-8:00 and Saturday, September 10th between 9:00-3:00 (even though packet pickup will go until 5:00). Among the screening that will be offered by OhioHealth are: bone density via an ultrasonometer, blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol, sports medicine exams testing flexibility, range of motion as well as consultations, gait analysis and ankle stability and footwear assessment. In addition, OhioHealth's new mobile mammography unit will be on site to provide mammograms. For additional information on scheduling a mammogram, click here.
Merchandise Store
Under the direction of Second Sole, the Expo merchandise store will have a wide selection of clothing, shoes and New Albany Walking Classic branded merchandise available for purchase. Sales staff from Second Sole and some of our national sports vendors will be available to answer any questions you may have, so shop 'til you drop.
